Harish Kumar Patel lives with his mom and dad in Bhimnagar, Gujerat, India, where he is studying Electronic Engineering. His dad, Satish Kumar, wants him to re-locate to the U.S., live with the Bakshis, study, and marry the girl of his choice. Harish must first go through the blessings of an Astrologer, Bholey Shankar Maharaj, who blesses him, informs him that he will meet a girl whose name will start with 'P', who he will marry. An overly excited Harish travels all the way to Houston, Texas, U.S. where he is met fondly by the Bakshi family, consisting of Mrs. and Dr. Bakshi, Mohan, and Deepu. In keeping with the fear and paranoia after the September 11 attacks, Mrs. Bakshi has made it a practice to place American flags in the front pockets of her sons, and she does it now for Harish as well. Mohan is around Harish's age and shows him around the campus. Harish meets with a beautiful Malyalee girl, Priya, and falls in love with her. But things do not go as planned when Harish finds out that Mohan actually is a snob, who hates F.O.Bs. (Fresh off the Boat) Indians like him; the girl Priya is actually in love with another young man by the name of Raju, and her name's not Priya - it's Supriya; and due to Harish's accent, oily hair, & c. he is not being invited to the party where everybody else is invited. Looks like Harish is headed for more pitfalls than he had bargained for, and it also looks like the Maharaj may have been wrong after all.

OK first I would give this movie: Where's the Party Yaar? 100 !!!... sure maybe it is not the best DivX Movie Where's the Party Yaar? or watever ... But man is this show has great dialogue comedy ... He will never stop laughing from start to finish. I understand how this Where's the Party Yaar? film might have offended people, but every culture has its falling .... sometimes fun ... this Where's the Party Yaar? Comedy film is not his opinion the worst thing in the world so its nothing to worry about. If I were you i definitely give it a try ... I have seen at least 30 times and never gets old .... Also you should check out ball and chain that is the two main male stars of this DVD movie Where's the Party Yaar? as well ..

I thought this Where's the Party Yaar? Comedy movie was quite funny. However, if you're not open and do not find funny Indian accent, then you do not see this movie. This Where's the Party Yaar? film is about a boy (Hari) is directly from India (thick accent, nerdy clothes, tennis shoes, and use deodorant, baby powder), which is trying to fit in other Americanized Indians and others. Stereotyping in this movie: Where's the Party Yaar? is hilarious, it's just a good ole Funnies race can relate to because I am from a source other than myself. This DivX film Where's the Party Yaar? has nothing to do Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, however, has some scenes Stoner compound, as a matter of fact there is only one scene where the weed is in the film. In addition, this movie: Where's the Party Yaar? is very low budget, so it is not the best of films, but in my opinion, is the humor that makes this movie. If you do see this film, Hari is the friend of a commentary in this film, so if you do not think it is fun, you might want to turn this movie. He is the one with the longest name in Indian history.

OK, I do not understand why people are so offended by this film. Maybe I can talk about being a white Canadian, German and Italian background .. But I have a good friend of India, i work with lots of Indians and I am in contact with them almost every day. do any of you realize that most of the actors were Indians? Why they want to be in a Where's the Party Yaar? Comedy movie so offensive to their own people. I love movies like this, the culture ... But it's also fun because they make fun of Indians, Paks, Sri Lanka, etc. .. They are just laughing at the stereotypes about them ... It's like me with a fund mediteranian see "my big fat Greek wedding" i can relate and laugh a lot more with that DVD film Where's the Party Yaar? ... Because it is not making fun of the Greeks is the way that laughter is crazy ... I 'm saying? My friend is a proud Indian, Punjabi-speaking Sikhs and really loves this kind of movies ... If he is not offended, I do not see how someone else is. - Kyle
