The movie begins in the small town of Elerslie, Scotland. William lives with his father, who is not named in the film, and his older brother Malcolm. William's father and older brother are called to a meeting a few miles from their home where they find the entire nobility of Scotland hanging. Malcolm and his father then go to a battle between the British and their clan, both die tragically. At the funeral William meets his uncle Argyle who fought in the battle with Malcolm and his father. He takes him away to live with him. The scene then cuts to an adult William on his horse. William later runs into a girl he knew before he went to live with Argyle, her name, Murron, we discover that Lords have the right to sleep with brides on their wedding night, so William marries Murron in secret. Murron is the assaulted by a British guard, the guard is killed by William, a fight ensues, and eventually Murron is killed by the lord. This enrages Wallace who then build himself a fine army entering city's and killing all Englishman within. Wallace prepares to move on to Sterling where he prepared for his greatest battle yet, in the forest he realises that he must find a way to beat the heavy cavalry from the ground, he decided to create spears twice as long as men. These were used in the battle to kill the entire heavy cavalry raised at the last minute to kill the on coming horses. Eventually Wallace reaches York, the most important military city he gains control. Williams final battle at Falkirk ends in his betrayal by two nobles, whom he later kills. William is betrayed by the leper father of Robert the Bruce, is captured and refuses to bow down as a loyal subject of the king Edward I, Longshanks. Therefore, instead of mere beheading William Wallace is subject to being Hung, hung within an inch of death. Drawn, being stretched by his ankles and wrists and then having his insides shown to him before he died. Then Quartered, he was beheaded and his head was put on the London Bridge his body was torn into for pieces one sent to each corner of Britain as a warning to the citizens. After Wallace's death we see Robert the Bruce led the battle of Bannockburn the last battle for Scotland's freedom.

I think this Braveheart Biography movie is one of the best of 90. Contains a lot of wonderful scenes, and in particular the scenes of battle long (very cruel). The evocative music, played with a bagpipe, the typical Scottish instrument.Photography is excellent, particularly in terms of the Highlands. An excellent film, well directed and acted. Indeed, I suggest to see, but beware: they are bloody battles.

The best film: Braveheart I've ever seen. And the more successful it has been in Turkish cinema 2 years in a row. Having seen this DVD film Braveheart more than 200 times, I am stating my life as a film. Secondary characters, like Steven, Hemich and most of the rest remind me of a great story "wirtten by those who have hanged heroes." To die in their beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day that, on one occasion, only one-chance to see this Braveheart Biography and say that we all know, can see that many films, but never see any movie: Braveheart Braveheart as a new ..

I must say that I am very surprised to see this Braveheart movie is not classified. 96 in IMDb and you get 8.3 out of 10. I think this Braveheart Biography film deserves at least 9 out of 10. and ranked 96, is that all you get? should at least be in the top ten, I do not know if this is the best DivX Movie Braveheart ever made, but certainly up there with the best. this movie: Braveheart has everything, the music is great, the actors are great (some of which I have never heard of before and had never seen before, but still good) and the story is very well done, although it is historically inaccurate . the DivX film Braveheart is so good that the three hours go by so quickly and the fight scenes are good and bloody, normally fight scenes in other movies are boring and / or difficult to follow, but this is not. what is really good news is the battle of wits between King Edward (Longshanks) and William Wallace. is almost like a chess game in the film, Wallace Scottish controls and monitors the Spanish king and what is really surprising is that without its leaders from each country would be lost, as Longshanks' are sheep, sheep simply, easily dispersed if the strike shepard. i could be here all day just saying why this DVD film Braveheart is so good but if you've already seen, then you know, if you fail to keep it, trust me. I have not seen Mel Gibson's latest work, apocolpyto but if it is half as good as this, it will be excellent.

I am one of those who can watch movies more than once. Now I have only seen this Braveheart Biography movie for 5 time, and still love it. Due to the dramatic, sad, romantic and exciting story. this Braveheart film is anything to go back. Leaves you with a reminder of what still happens today. with guns instead of swords. Mel is a genius! This DivX film Braveheart combines history with the action, and makes the Braveheart Biography worth seeing. If you're one of those who have not seen this film, you must do so as soon as possible. This is a DVD film Braveheart not to miss. Action and scenery is great. Everything is very well done, considering the year the film: Braveheart was made in. huge Mel acting and superb direction makes this DivX film Braveheart one of my favorites!
