| This part two, which is destined to be the history of letters is an absolute stink. The plot is paper thin, the screenplay is awful, density wooden acting, it is historically inaccurate, even the vessels seem to be ill at the time. Richard Chamberlain (God help you) tries to act, but fails miserably, the accents of the pirate crew veer comically "Van Dykian English" to New York through Devon and all the intermediate stops. It's bad that was not even funny, I have never seen a worse piece of "entertainment" - and I've seen a few. I suspect that the Director has a bright future as a traffic police. Prevent scurvy. Unless forced to walk the plank. |
| The DivX Movie Blackbeard is set in the first part of the 18th century. However, when a French ship site in the early history, is flying the blue, white and red flag of modern France, which did not come into existence until the French Revolution, some 75 years later. It would also help if there is more character development. For example, different locations, it is unclear what is the hero of motivation to carry out the mission that serves as the foundation on which to build history. The settings, which I understand have been built in Thailand, are also well constructed and credible in the Bahamas for nearly 300 years and its good record of the scenes. |
| Living in Bristol where Blackbeard lived and drank in a bar today, I thought I would give this a chance. I was disappointed, which could potentially been very good. The acting is poor, to say the least, and the story was never something that had gripped it since the beginning. Trickled along the story at a pace that never threatened to accelerate, so I left everything went A-. Although I do not know that many of the historical facts about Blackbeard, I was always led to believe that the most feared pirate Blackbeard in his day. I never got the impression that throughout the movie, which again left me disappointed. Whether to make a Blackbeard Adventure film about Blackbeard, at least give him an edge, we like him. While I can not say that I am an expert in dental hygiene from 1700, I was surprised how many pirates who had white teeth, not just something that feels like a real pirate movie. |
