It is a beautiful Charlotte's Web film and very faithful to the book. A fan of EB White brilliant work, I could recite the last line with the film. The friend who was a die-hard fan of the elderly, animated Web Charlotte, his only complaint is that it was less musical numbers (ie: none). Furthermore, I felt the beginning and end credits as a sort of tribute to the animated version. The voices are well cast, Julia Roberts is a comfortable and pleasant to Charlotte, and although the opening shots of the spider made some in the audience go "Ew," we are growing, like farm animals, to embrace her warm nature. I found it very nice in the end. Steve Buscemi as Templeton is perfect. John Cleese know who is behind the head of sheep still fun. Dakota Fanning and finally gets to play a girl be a girl. I just did break twice, but I'm a big soft. Take the family, children, and anyone who ever enjoyed the classic EB White story.

I saw this Charlotte's Web Drama movie with my wife and two children and we all enjoy. We are very familiar with the book and the original animated film, which enjoyed very. This Charlotte's Web movie is very well done, both in terms of money spent, but also in quality and time taken. The story moves along very well, never dragging, and emotions are never overwhelming. I must say that I missed Henry Gibson as the voice of Wilbur, but it was a personal bias, the young actor who voiced Wilbur did a good job. My children find many things and laugh at the darkest moments, (not wanting to spoil anything for those who do not know the story) was ably handled sensitive children were not upset. A great family film.
