Years before the Spinal Tap, the explosion in the Woody Allen Take the Money and Run Comedy film with its pure and simple, innovative, Zany mockumentary TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN submission that run the story of a hapless Starkwell Virgilio, one of Allen many anti - Heroes, which entered into a life of crime, but even then it was considered unsuitable for the umpteenth level. To see this is the first witness of the director's work, which ultimately brought us "banana", "Sleeper," "Manhattan" and the Oscar-winning "Annie Hall." And if anything, only because of its track over the top of humor, not as funny as in your face "Sleeper", or sex as hilarious as "Annie Hall" but warm and withdrawn, balanced by a very good end (always one of the weakest parts in almost all of Allen's films). Take the money and run is what comedy is. It is very fun and very entertaining. The story is about a charming young man who only has a small problem: do not get along very well with the law! He is, steal, rob banks. But he is not a bad person. His name is Virgil Starkwell and is perfectly played by Woody Allen himself. Now you have to consider the fact that it is very different from Allen's later work, which I prefer. I like my Woody more drama and more than in psychology (Manhattan, Annie Hall, Crimes and Misdemeanors). Here is all laughs and jokes every minute. Take the Money and Run is primarily a satire of the Take the Money and Run Comedy rob banks. Although it is not my cup of tea, I liked it and had a lot of fun. And I would recommend this movie: Take the Money and Run for all fans of Woody, especially those who prefer to work early. But I think everyone can enjoy and have a great time watching.
