Allison is a 'square' good girl who has decided she wants to be bad and falls hard for Cry-Baby Walker, a Greaser (or 'Drape' in John Waters parlance). Spoofing Elvis movies and Juvenile Delinquency scare films of the '50s, this movie follows the adventures of Cry-Baby who, though he is sent to juvie, is determined to cross class (and taste) boundaries to get Allison back.

Cry-Baby is one of the best films in history. Johnny Depp did a wonderful job and worked very well with Amy Locana. Good music, entertainment, and comedy is presented throughout the movement. Cry-Baby is one of my favorite movies of all time. Every time I see Johnny Depp in a DivX film Cry-Baby that still amazes me how you can be different. And almost never looks the same. Pepper was one of my favorite characters. Tough, mean and pregnant. Hatchet face on the other hand was kind of scary. His teeth were part of what frightens me more. And her makeup kind of wrapped it all together. My favorite song in which he had Teardrops are falling and Jailman. At least I think that is what is called.
