| Greetings again from the darkness. A unique, surprising little gem from writer / director Daniel Taplitz Marcos Siega ( "Pretty Persuasion"). Not in the traditional way of Hollywood, this takes us in a most unusual path to self-actualization. Ryan Reynolds, by far, offers his best screen performance as the TOC seems to have the dad that perfect family, work and life. The problem is, it runs through endless lists often load his wife (the always great Emily Mortimer), with helping him keep his "to do" schedule. After a most unusual partner selection process, Mortimer, becomes disenchanted with the structure ... that is, until he was swept away in a moment of incomprehension. Can not give away too much here to say who are not heads of a wake for Reynolds through a strange series of events that leads to a life-changing moment that involves a rowboat and his friend Stuart Townsend ( also excellent). The story does not follow the traditional story arc, however, we always invested in the main ... trying to appeal to make smart decisions! It's really a lot of fun. This probably will not reach a wider audience because none of the players are huge draws, and neither the writer or director are big names. That is very bad because it is the quality of storytelling in general and film-making. |
| This Chaos Theory film is about a man whose life is organized into chaos by an accidental disclosure. Although there are many moments of comedy in the film, I think it's more of a drama about Frank and find out that the efficiency does not do any happier. This is complete and personal change is engagingly portrayed throughout the film. Frank is connected to the position of spectators, and much more easily evokes sympathy. The ending is touching and well told. Explore what's important in life. Is it work, family, or the deepest values such as forgiveness? "Chaos Theory" is a surprising gem. This is a participation, the heart, and yet heart warming light and humorous at the same time. Watch if you have a chance! |
| Chaos Theory ... Interesting title, cover attractive, interesting history. Sounds good, but this is not as' one of many films. "That was my first impression. Thus, first, this DivX Movie Chaos Theory does not seem much to me. But I began to see, first and foremost, the title of the Chaos Theory Romance movie fits in very well. I got into the story and chaos in my head, as a result of the complicated and frustrating history, so big, I kind of freaked out and was like who cares? Forget it! Clean start! Like ... The actors, who fit all their role in the film. They are doing a great job with the Chaos Theory film a perfect blend of "trying to be serious" history, humor and ... CHAOS! |
| The 'chaos theory' credits started rolling here, actually have a pre-visualization of the emotion, the writers left me cold. A wide range of smug Chaos Theory Romance film 'experts' the title used to identify the major flaw of the film, namely the lack of a straight-line writing. Seeing that the script lacks the necessary hilarity to make a pure comedy, I felt better if he had stuck with a drama, and could have been a great one too, which is the sucky part. Round characters, explore the great plot lines and having a wonderful script, well worth seeing. You can divide the films I do not like in two categories: films that are simply poor quality (with a very bad aspect or all bad or mediocre) movies or waste their potential. "Chaos Theory" is the last one, I liked the premise that's why I've seen in the first place: more than a type organized with a perfectly fine job, his wife and daughter finds his life turned out upside down from one day to the next. The situation therefore seems, is beyond their control. He has made the safe, smart, responsible decisions throughout his life but that ends in a very messy problem, which convinces him to pull all the principles he clung throughout his life by the wayside. Lives, as he calls it, a life of 'luxury', 'opportunity' and 'passion'. Sounds good? Well, yes ... for me it is just a very bad 6 / 10 |
| Chaos theory is a well-acted comedy that offers laughs for a moment, while the right to weave a story. Never reach the greatness, but it is pleasant throughout the process. Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds) is a speaker who lectures on time management, and his life is perfectly ordered and planned to the minute. When his wife (Emily Mortimer) sets his clock forward 10 minutes as a joke, launching his day off. When it finishes late for an out-of-town conference, things go wrong. A couple of miscommunications leads his wife to question his loyalty, and he ends up making a discovery that makes you have doubts about his own family. Deciding that his strictly ordered life has done well recently, is beginning to make multiple choice index cards, choosing one at random and do what is written on the card. Reynolds is a very under appreciated talent and her work in this Chaos Theory Romance film is on the ground. Stuart Townsend gives a strong performance as Frank's best friend, and Matreya Fedor has some great moments as Frank from 7 years old daughter. Sarah Chalke appears briefly in an interesting role, but she is not given much to work with. The Chaos Theory movie is the story is well structured and not completely predictable, and the pace and timing are great. The failure of the film, however, is the third act, which was a bit overblown for my taste. But it is an intelligent and enjoyable Chaos Theory film overall, perfect for a rental. |
