Bounty hunter Jack Walsh is sent to find and return bail jumper and former Mafia accountant, Jonathan 'The Duke' Mardukas. The FBI have had no success it locating The Duke, so when Jack finds him in next to no time, they are a little embarrassed. In order to collect his $100,000 fee, Jack must take The Duke from New York to Los Angeles. However, the Mafia and the FBI have other ideas, as does Marvin, a rival bounty hunter. On their long cross-country trip to LA, the two get to know each other and they build up a strange friendship.

This film: Midnight Run is one of the best films of Robert De Niro ever. His relentless comedy and quotable and has enough action to keep everyone happy. Beware Dennis Farina as Jimmy Serrano. The most fun he has played up to Get Shorty Ray Bones. The banter between Johnaton Marduk and Jack Walsh is great to see and Joe Pantoliano playing basically the same play later in Bad Boys. I would recommend to anyone with a good taste in movies. 7.5 is an abomination to this excellent film. Everyone needs to see and then give it the rightful place it deserves 10/10. More laughter can be obtained from the image of Kotto Yaphat Alonzo Mosely FBI. It has solid action and a solid script. It is a must see for fans of De Niro or films like Welcome to the jungle or friend comedies. It is a DVD movie Midnight Run that will never become dated or age. In fact I am going to see again now

One of the most intelligent, fun and exciting images ever made friend. He has never received the attention it deserves great justice. The actions of the two drivers (De Niro and Grodin) are wonderful and are not yet supported by Joe Pantolino, Dennis Farina and Yaphet Kotto. But what separates this image of all other action / comedy ever made is that the script is so strong and original. Easily my favorite Midnight Run Adventure film of all time - You know how I know that? I have seen "Midnight Run" at least thirty times and each time I see it, it gets better and better. A true classic Midnight Run Adventure movie is being rereleased on DVD in June 2003.
