| Perhaps it should not be writing a review I had to shut down after about forty minutes due to a lack of originality, pace terrible, and incredibly poor attempts to copy the tactics of terror shock Japanese. In addition, the terrible acting largely with the exception that the female lead is both interesting and pleasant appearance and style. I could not decide which was more than wood, the cabin or the main man that I was surprised to find an experienced player in UK TV (though I have never seen anything on it) and not a friend of the director who had never acted before . Ironically, the character was played by an artist who had a shot at Hollywood stardom and blew it "sucks" in action, I suspect that will reflect the real life of art. CGI is very good for a low-budget film, but the effect seemed prosthetic body parts shop mannequins. Despite all the negative visual style and the lighting is especially good in places as was the editing, although the use of the Matrix-style speed ramps was completely misplaced, given the nature of history. As is becoming the practice in these films that are critical of another suspect connected with the production people (when will I learn not to believe in them). | I just finished watching this and I want to comment on this DVD movie Dead and Gone that worked so well. Entered without expectations, and left feeling like, finally, there is some hope for the horror genre yet. Even with a relatively low budget, the DivX film Dead and Gone has good story, decent action, gore, and none of the cliché moments that plague today Teeny generic horror films. With a nod or two, some purists will see links to films like Amityville Horror, The Shining, Poltergeist, Evil Dead 2 & even Troma classic Mother's Day. If you're a fan of the brilliant style of horror in the mid-80s, you will not be disappointed by the style, history, and cinematography of this movie. |
| Funeral not be popular with teenagers who devour horror films through free downloads and you want to see a lot of gore and sex. Black comedy that blends well in the horror. Its exceptionally well directed, cleverly written, with an inspired use of light and color and big-budget special effects. The DivX Movie Dead and Gone is astonishingly beautiful to see. And Yossi Sasson creates a syncopated rhythm of shocks that are truly frightening. The performance is good and the heat is seeking. Kyle Gass is hilarious as a television minister. Robert Herrick and plays this giant gay Hillbilly. I wont say what it is, but the scene in which things are oozing from his mouth is totally gross and laugh out loud funny. The screenplay was written by Harry Shannon, a cult horror author for good reason. I am a big fan of his books and did not disappoint. This Dead and Gone movie is a more mature audience, no matter what their age. There are a lot of character and development of a real plot. Teenagers do not scream for an hour. I recommend it. |
| I watch a lot of Indie films and I'm a fan of horror to boot. I have a vision without any relation to the bantering subjective critics and commentators alike. I ended up seeing people dead and over twice before sending it back to the good ole Netflix. Knowing this had to be low budget, I must say, I liked this movie! Has lots of light and water infiltration is not exactly, but it is not what I expected to see at all. I was entertained with the history and the quality of performance. Cameos, where the great! Ben Moody plays a hilarious mountain Redneck Hick! I laughed at that one! The table shows the names of all the appearances, so I will not say more. Moves through the first half, I thought the Dead and Gone movie had a bit of himself too seriously, then it came into its own for the rest of the film. I realized then that the director was going. There were certainly some thought that this was Flic. Rent! If you like horror flics B with some intelligence. Here are my points of 1-10. 10 is the best. Remember (low budget) Music Score: 9 Harry Manfredini people! (Howed receiving it?) Sound: 5.1 Dolby 9. If you have a good audio setup, I was impressed!
