| People are eager to pile on any BloodRayne Action movie by critics panne. While I agree that Uwe Boll should make low budget videos or ads of used cars until they learn to lead, this BloodRayne film was not as bad, if you overlook some of its obvious shortcomings. The fact is that there are hundreds of low budget films made each year that are much worse than this. Many effects are ridiculous, are trivial, with the worst acting, sets and costumes. You can see all night in the science fiction or other basic cable channels. The biggest problem with Bloodrayne may be that attempts to be more than what it is. Compared with most video-rate, is not half bad. I saw it on TV, so I'm not comparing to other major releases from major studios. I think people are judging based on their expectations as much as anything. Kristanna Lokken thought was pretty good. Fortunately, she plays the main character. She was a good choice for Rayne. Some of the others sound a little silly trying to affect a vaguely European, old-timey accent, especially Madsen and Rodriguez, none of which seemed convincing power of his remarkable drop Jersey accents. |
| It is fairly reliable rule that whatever is the majority view of a film, my opinion is exactly the opposite. This is not intentional but rather a result of the fact that I prefer to keep my opinion as unbiased as possible. Now, considering the genre (film based on a video game) and object (the vampires and mestizos), I would have thought it impossible for this BloodRayne movie to less than half interesting. Then they warned that it would have been egregiously wrong. It is so uninteresting that he could not bear to see more than half of it. The cast, while potentially one of the biggest ever, gives a lackluster performance. The story could have been epic, but it is more like reading the sections highlighted in a textbook used college. I have not played the video game, but I bet that this DVD movie BloodRayne completely fails to capture even a breath of spirit. In fact, this BloodRayne film is without spirit. It's a zombie. | Warning: This DivX Movie BloodRayne sucks! Yes it is true, another video game adaptation of blows! I will not waste my time on this one too, but I will say bad things in this, as there are no good things about this movie. Michael Madsen looks so damn impressive that it has signed on to do this and just read their lines as if reading them for the first time. Ben Kingsly seems ridiculous, and also can not seem to take seriously this DivX Movie BloodRayne either. Now there is nothing good about big players do not try, but what is worse is the bad actors trying to act well. Kristanna Loken and Michelle Rodriguez persae are not bad but not good in this garbage. And to be fair is not the fault of the actor that the script and direction are so terrible. I remember when I said there's nothing good about this, Lied, When the child requests that Kristanna Loken is "tits" I laughed. Once this film: BloodRayne made me express a feeling of joy ha ha. | I almost forgot that I had seen a month ago. I remember being more excited by the fact that Uwe Boll was in attendance to hear what he had to say about film-making. Well, say that his comments before and after the film's why the revelations that makes this crappy movies. First, he can not understand why people so savage his films. He believes the Internet community gives you a hard time because he is German and makes his films with Nazi money (your budget, not mine. Of course he was joking, right?) Secondly, I could not care less if the actors has been adapted for the functions. In fact, the search for players is the last thing you do to secure funding for their films. Apparently, he believes that the story is strong enough to carry the film. So this is why we end up with players like Ben Kinglsey working with Michael Madsen. In fact, all we had was the time to do the BloodRayne Action movie and getting a paycheck. Therefore, if this is your soul like the movies, I do not know what does. In essence, waiting until the last possible moment to hire actors who can make their films with a guaranteed budget. Why I write this is because I listened to your new "epic" In the Name of the King is a four-hour BloodRayne film split in half, like Kill Bill. It depressed me to no end. Uwe Boll really is the next Ed Wood, Ed Wood, but he cared about his players and movies. |
