| Christian Campbell is definitely one of America's gems. And the hilarious cast of this Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical movie should be honored with a statue somewhere. "Reefer Madness" is a pure joy, and in 2005 America is surprisingly timely as we are overwhelmed with the moralists of the kind described by Alan Cummings in this film. If you enjoy a modern satire, and if you like intelligent music and a large number choreographed song, this is the Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical Drama for you. If you have no sense of humor, do something else. Steven Weber and Alan Cummings put in great performances. Both are very underrated players that have resulted in many films of magic, and this is no exception. Alan Cummings is about to steal the show. But this DivX film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical is that Christian Campbell dazzles. It is almost unbelievable in its hilarious moments as the All-American Uber-healthy child. That smile is so perfect and infectious. That could never be found and more perfect for this role, someone able to move from healthy to ruins by Mr. Mr. marijuana - and his talent for singing and dancing through the perfection in this movie. | I am a big fan of music and satire, so of course it is a success to me. The music is catchy, well written and memorable. All the artists did a good job, even those who could not cut expected (Steven Webber, ana gasthier) did reasonably well. Kristin Bell and Christian Campbell was fantastic, but I think the winner of this music would have to be Alan Cumming, who plays several roles and has a hell of a set of pipes. This Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical movie may not be for everyone. If you are tense, I think a blow, weed you nuts or are easily offended when Jesus in a loin cloth sang songs to stay away from marijuana, the Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical movie is not for you. However, if you can have a good laugh at the culture of drugs and the war on drugs (and perhaps to recognize a parallel in what is happening in the world today), you can enjoy this movie. I wish I could find the soundtrack, but is not yet released. The original cast recording is impossible to find. |
| But I loved it. Kristen Bell reprises his role off Broadway, and it is impressive. In fact, the entire cast was impressive. Perhaps because I am a fan of the original version of 1938 (Mary Lane received a shot in the back when the gun was fired anywhere near that direction is HILARIOUS), but could not help but love this Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical movie had the power . Most people only know Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars, so it's cool to see something completely different. She can dance and I loved the S & M getup. Christina Campbell is so ridiculous and looks exactly like his sister Neve, which is fun (though hardly in the thing). Ana Gasteyer can sing! People probably look for some deep meaning, or take too seriously, and this excess to analyze what it is, but not - just enjoy the energy and madness in the madness! |
| I'm so used to being disappointed by the roles assumed, songs, plot and dialogue, phoned-in shows, etc., most of what I see in movies and television lately ... but this is sublime! Campy is fun and although the lyrics are clever and demand intelligence, and the music is great, as is each of the results. However, it is not just an actor or any aspect of exposure to stress and brilliant every moment of Reefer Madness: The film: Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical musical is less than perfect! My husband, my friends and I could not see that (it was on Showtime On Demand "until Saturday), nor can we get the songs in the head .... From Showtime surely will again in this DVD, and (PLEASE!) drop it on DVD ASAP Become a favor and catch it. (And no, I am not affiliated in any way ... just a Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical Drama "shine"!) |
