When a devastating hit knocks a professional football legend and quarterback Cap Rooney (Denis Quaid) out of the game, a young, unknown third-stringer is called in to replace him. Having ridden the bench for years because of a string of bad luck stories and perhaps insufficient character, Willie Beaman (Jamie Foxx) seizes what may be his last chance, and lights up the field with a raw display of athletic prowess. His stunning performance over several games is so outstanding and fresh it seems to augur a new era in the history of this Miami franchise, and forces aging coach Tony D'Amato (Al Pacino) to reevaluate his time-tested values and strategies and begin to confront the fact that the game, as well as post-modern life may be passing him by. Adding to the pressure on D'Amato to win at any cost is the aggressive young President/Co-owner of the team, Christina Pagniacci (Cameron Diaz), now coming into her own after her father's death. Christina's driving desire to prove herself in a male dominated world is intensified by her focus on the marketing and business of football, in which all coaches and players are merely properties.

This Any Given Sunday movie is the worst Any Given Sunday film I've ever seen. If you disagree with me, please note that I left two and a half hours in the film. Yes, this DVD film Any Given Sunday is horrible, at least two and a half hours long. My friends and I do not feel that through a long session of films like "The Talented Mr. Ripley," but we went to this DivX film Any Given Sunday thinking that it was shorter. Needless to say, should have chosen the former. The Any Given Sunday film begins painfully boring. Has the worst camera work I've seen in my life, no one can say what is happening. I guess the terrible issue was supposed to contribute to the concept behind the film, but just not. It is irrelevant that is full of cuttings to see to believe. The characters are poorly developed and poorly cast: Cameron Diaz does not credible "slut" and Al Pacino is not just as a football coach. Above all, try to recreate the drama of real football games in the film. Of course, I did not see the end of the film, but nothing could have saved. If you're willing to sacrifice three hours of your life, go see a good movie: Any Given Sunday instead of this piece of trash.
this Any Given Sunday movie has a lot of good things to go it.one of them is the large body cast.this includes Al Pacino and Cameron Diaz as carp names.however I do not think we were the stars of the distinction is shared with show.that the cast.there are some big names here.Jamie Foxx and Dennis Quaid are both terrific.LL Cool J also makes a strong performance.James Woods giving his usual good performance.in small roles, but no less effective, are Matthew Modine, Aaron Eckhart and John Holley C.McGinley.Lauren, however, put in a very good and really impressed me.the Any Given Sunday Sport film also has a high degree of realism in the scenes in football field.you can hear all the bones calculating ingenuity clarity.and amazing success is a high energy environment for most part.there below are some parts of the film, though.one of them is the running time, more than two and half felt that hours.i perhaps could have shaved off twenty minutes.also i felt that the DivX Movie Any Given Sunday does not always go ahead with the momentum builds.it gets a bit tedious in times.finally, the scenes with Cameron Diaz and Al Pacino Pacino tends to consider together.i overact a little, and Diaz is a bit outside your depth.Diaz was very good otherwise.anyway, for me, every Sunday is a 6 / 10
Another lame attempt to make a Any Given Sunday Sport "rough" and "reflection" - whatever the hell that means. Al Pacino has said a lot of words - "Television killed the football." If whatever. This is another Oliver Stone DivX Movie Any Given Sunday that introduced the delusions of grandeur. If the stone is trying to show that football will be our downfall or something, why insist on romanticizing the sport with his camera movements stilted and Kid Rock songs? Even Cameron Diaz is launching in the fray for purely aesthetic reasons. It is a shame that Diaz and Pacino have met at a Any Given Sunday film that is so bad. From "Scent of a Woman, writers and directors have used their lines Pacino romanticize pathetic. His characters are only speakers - covering their voices which normally would be redundant and trite. It has to reinvent itself, showing how it can act without shouting. He has to stop feeling sorry for hokey script lessons cheesy as "football is organized in a bad state," and act out a good story.
Oliver Stone hired someone an editor! In more than two and half hours, our interest in this football soap runs out long before the final touchdown. But there is more here than a big bad story / runtime gap. "Any Sunday" about saying too many things at once. Stone examines a variety of views: questionable medical ethics, the family fee to be a workaholic, the media, the short attention span, drug abuse and promiscuity, etc, etc. The end result seems undisciplined . Worse still, the most interesting angles - Al Pacino's coach sentimentality need to overcome in a dog-eat-dog sport - is woefully underexplored. However, as the game is, "any Sunday" has its share of ups and downs. The Any Given Sunday Sport film of the kitsch spurs a degree of emotion, but over time it becomes overwhelming. Vulgarity introduces an element of realism, but it also became tight after the first hour. The brightest spot is the cast, without a doubt one of the most diverse and talented ever to grace sports movie. Pacino is at his usual high standard, while the likes of Jamie Foxx, James Woods and Aaron Eckhart are not far behind - all the more reason for disappointment at the outcome.
Any given Sunday by Oliver Stone is one of the most enjoyable films. Sunday is pure entertainment, an action-packed show that will delight even the most ardent sports enthusiasts. Stone is based on the usual assortment of sports Any Given Sunday Sport movie clichés, but directs his actors, including Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx, Dennis Quaid, LL Cool J, and in such intense and passionate performances, the DVD film Any Given Sunday is able to transcend their family material. While his 160 minutes of running time is a bit of an injury, AGS works together as a superior piece of escapist entertainment. Moreover, the apparel scene, which shows a confrontation between Cameron Diaz and a soccer player with a big penis, is a classic.
I like almost all the sports I watch the movie. There are exceptions. That stupid golf Any Given Sunday Sport with the magical trash. Would you like golf? Watch Tin Cup Friday night lights is the real business. Natural is the epitome of baseball movies. Here we have the NFL at its best as rough machine money. Pacino as the aging coach gives a great performance. I found it to be truly credible. Cameron Diaz gives the best performance of his career, with the possible exception of Gangs of New York. Dennis Quaid and James Woods are a welcome addition to any movie, and not disappoint here. Jaime Foxx gave the performance that put him on the road to stardom. Sorry, NFL fans, but seeing this is better than real.
I went to this Any Given Sunday movie expecting the best, but left having seen the worst. I could not believe this Any Given Sunday film was so bad. The Any Given Sunday Sport was chopped. And I had not seen a DVD movie Any Given Sunday about Badminton. This Any Given Sunday Sport could easily have been condensed into a 1 / 2 hour special on PBS.
