| One of the most beautiful and moving films I've ever seen. I'm not a crier in the movies, but me. The cast does a great job, despite what some say is an excellent idea of how to handle twice the film: One Last Thing... genre. Michael Angarano does an excellent job as the terminally ill child, and his two friends, Ricky and Slap (Gideon Glick and Matt Bush) are in a way that the best part of the film, playing nice and hormone-driven best friends. Cynthia Nixon as the child of a grieving mother gives poignant performance. On the screen the relationship between Nixon and Angarano is a real treasure and see. I've seen quite harsh criticism of this film, and frankly can not understand it.The splicing One Last Thing... Drama film comedy and drama, and creates a beautiful portrait of a couple in recent days on those closest to him, and his last wish (ill fail to see the film: One Last Thing... to know about this). The song at the end, Wyclef Jean's "Heaven in New York" is beautiful, poignant and devastating. |
| I wanted the highest rate, but I found it rather as a means of cancer films guy go. The DivX Movie One Last Thing... is an exploration of the meaning of life and death and how it affects both the dying and those left behind. I felt that as the two crazy friends of the girls used it to die a little like a macabre joy ride, so the writer of the One Last Thing... Drama was the tragedy of death and twisted to fit his message on life. The result was a dream as something benign experience this type of conflict with reality. As in superhero movies, too many matches leading up to the desired results, whatever they have been missing and a sad and depressing experience. What is the funeral home with people trying to erase the smile from the dead? Is not it better to be happy? In summary: a mild drama, played well, well managed, a little more melodramatic and a bit of fantasy in some places, but hey ... is a drama. |
| This DVD movie One Last Thing... was a really good One Last Thing... film that surprised me a little. When you rent, based on what I had read about it, I was expecting to see a raunchy teen film. Instead, it was not a bad movie-balance comedy and drama in it. In the film, a teenager is dying of cancer. A foundation that grants wishes to young people had to die appear on television to make his "last wish", and everybody thinks that it will request a fishing trip with his favorite football player. Instead, it asks for a weekend with a hot supermodel whose bikini-clad image adorns a wall in a cartel. Then move to the supermodel, which is like a little on the hot-tempered side and has completely exasperated his manager. The model was surprised when she learns about desire and reluctance agreed to meet with him. After a disappointing few sessions, the child is frustrated too. I will leave the rest for you to watch and see what happens. However, it was a decent way to spend an hour and a half of his time, and I recommend it. | I have to see "One last thing ..." at the Toronto Film Festival to visit friends. I loved Alex Steyermark previous film, "Prey for Rock & Roll" - and could not believe my luck that I was in Toronto for the premiere of this One Last Thing... Drama film (although I missed the fun of the premiere and saw him in the second screening "). I did not know what to expect, but this movie: One Last Thing... is completely different. I do not know how to describe it without giving spoilers - this One Last Thing... Drama movie is a complete surprise, incredibly funny and incredibly moving - and you feel good about laughing at the jokes and crying at the sad things. It made me appreciate the people in my life. All the acting is excellent in general - and the three children are the most realistic of the group of teenagers I've seen in the film. The script provides the perfect combination of emotions without SAPPY. The music is incredible. In the selection, the director said he expects good news next spring (2006), so all I can say is that when you go see. |
