| This Romper Stomper film will stay with you for a long while. Tells the story of Hando (Crowe) and his best mate Davey. Both are skinheads in the area of Melbourne, 1980. | My best friend recognizes American History X is better, but I disagree. Stomper break is much better. American History X had sometimes obvious flaws in the reasoning stage. I thought it was a little strange how the neo-Nazis into their old friends in such a short time (I know they're right) and how it seemed as if it was only moronic footsoldiers, blindly following orders FAQ common man. It's a bit superficial to dismiss people as easy as that. | Wow! Russell Crowe is perfect for the part and he definitely showed he was ready for Hollywood. This DVD film Romper Stomper is especially serious. Aggressive and full of violence, a cult classic if you ask me. Even the soundtrack is really crazy. It's a good film: Romper Stomper and the end is really far. These scenes on the beach, especially with the bus of Japanese tourists arrive by bus and take pictures is very ironic and funny. The latter angled camera shot is frightening. Bunch of crazy skin heads without a future. Thank God for that. The gang is full of weirdos too far and the loss of youth, which clearly have their own problems so that their political believes that almost never can be taken seriously, are really quite ridiculous. And yes, when they take the house of the yuppie "artist" peers, its really strange. Check it out! |
