Ray Ferrier is a dock worker who is finishing a night of work in the morning, because he works the night shift. But when he gets home his young daughter Rachel and teenage son Robbie are staying with him at his house in Bayonne, New Jersey, while his pregnant ex-wife Mary Anne and her new husband Tim visit her parents in Boston for the weekend. But then the unthinkable and, ultimately, the unexpected happens to him in an extraordinary sense! Witnessing, and barely escaping the horror, first-hand, it's up to Ray to protect his two kids from terrorist and races up to Boston before one of them gets murdered by a large tripod machine in its path!

The DVD movie War of the Worlds was generally spectacular, the performance was excellent and the special concerns spectacular. The roll played by Tom Cruise was excellent, it was a great actor and really made you think he loved his family and tried his best to keep them alive .. Tim Robbins played a crazy old man who want to destroy the tripods and their performance was pure and its role in Shawshank. But the actor (or actress) who really shined in this movement was the youth dokota Fanning. She is a rising star in children and is remembered by a young Drew Barrymore. War of the Worlds Thriller film and the story was great, but this War of the Worlds Thriller film adds to the big pile of "world order" or "Apocolypse" movies .... hopefully this will be the last DVD film War of the Worlds of punishment for some time but in the meantime, keep the good work Steve! -Dustin

War of the World has all the potential in the world (no pun intended) to open a box office hit, but ends with a slight moan as foreign beings beyond. The War of the Worlds Thriller is loads of special effects, just enough character development to keep up in the middle of the endless pile of ruins about Tom Cruise and his family together blindfolded. The plot of the film, an alien invasion from within (rate) moves at a rapid pace and offers the viewer a feeling of horror and panic immediately, one can assume that is the intention of Spielberg all along. The first action sequence of the DVD film War of the Worlds is the best in the film, in us for a tour of nearly two hours no one wants to do. The DVD film War of the Worlds talks about the volume and how the human nature of survival is a basic necessity for all humanity. There are several scenes of intimidation, which could potentially make the audience uncomfortable in his own skin, and see how they handle each scenerio, should present itself. The end of the War of the Worlds movie is a personal disappointment, because it is too long and becomes almost a part of what is really important, which is the survival of extinction. However, I would recommend this War of the Worlds film to any Speilburg fan, fan cruise, or anyone interested in seeing the world from destruction a million times.

Special effects without history is a great cartoon-ish. Nothing infuriates me (and friends) that the more endangered, the characters act like complete idiots stupid and foolish instead of gathering with his character, determination and can-do attitude, is that all people IndependenceDay4 rare and are working smart and brave and make some progress to hurt the enemy, not the betrayal of Judas tawdry character or theme of overweight father vs. son (snoring). Call this "Rachael's Movie," which focuses on this 10 years of screaming affection. When Hollywood producers to look beyond the "exclusive" Writers Guild of something original, and that his creativity has dried. It used to be a fan of science fiction where the rich anthropological made people think. Now 20 years later: a soap-opera-to-do this, slow-mo explosions, bodies flying and special effects - with no history (snoring). I will rather go play Splinter Cell: I can use my brain exists.
