| I can not really add much to the wealth of praise directed towards this Edward Scissorhands Comedy ... many of them well-deserved. Tim Burton really shows his ability to transcend mere comedy situations (Pee Wee and Beetlejuice) and tell a story with humor, love, mercy, conformity, and so on in a disturbing and entertaining. The road is built this Edward Scissorhands film is incredible ... series are great because they represent something so real and yet so far. Burton takes us into a fairy land of Suburbia ... castle with a worrying vacuum at the end of the block that just happens to house a man with scissors for hands. The music in this DivX Movie Edward Scissorhands helps to create a great atmosphere and really lends itself to character development, particularly enjoyed his use of the music of Tom Jones. The acting in the Edward Scissorhands Comedy film is magnificent in every way. Burton has a subtle and effective johhny Depp, whose talent cease to amaze me. A nice touch was the use of Burton Vincent Price in one of his last roles. Although only three scenes, looking back Vincent was a real joy. |
| I love this DVD film Edward Scissorhands because of how beautiful it is. It has a range of stunning sequences that seem real art. Snow is my favorite scene, when Edward carving a figure of an angel with Kim in the face of a block of ice, while dancing in the snow below. However, it also can be fun at times (for example, Edward ignorance of the words that mean something different from what you think. "Esmeralda: Has so far lost sheep of the flock? Edward: We are not sheep. "), Johnny Depp is incredibly passionate act. It was the perfect choice for the role. Frankly, I can not think of anyone who could have played better. The bitter sweet story is enough to touch anyone (still get misty eyed at the end), and I think this may be the most beautiful DivX film Edward Scissorhands ever. Watch, and who knows? Perhaps you agree. |
| Johnny Depp is unrecognizable in this poignant portrait of a lonely building by a lone inventor played by the late Vincent Price. Even his love for the daughter of the Avon lady (Winona Ryder) is condemned by the intimidation of her boyfriend (Anthony Michael Hall).
