Unjustly expelled from Harvard when a stash of cocaine is found in his possession, Matt (Elijah Wood) moves to London to live with his sister and her husband Steve (Marc Warren.) He is quickly introduced to Steve's chirpy, cock-sure younger brother Pete (Charlie Hunnam.) Initially, Pete is reluctant to get acquainted with Matt and allow him to tread around the capital city with him because he may be seen by others as an 'outsider', but after a heavy drinking session with him and his mates he quickly changes his opinion of him. On the way back from a football match, Matt is viciously accosted by a gang of Birmingham City thugs, until Pete and his friends step in and save him. It is from here that Matt learns the truth about Pete and his friends- they are football hooligans, operating the GSE (Green Street Elite) 'firm.' Initially afraid of the violence, Matt soon ends up becoming as desensitized to it as his new found friends- but as events roll on, suspicion, shocking revelations and unsettled scores combine to a devastating climax where London's most fierce football rivals- Millwall and West Ham United- are set to go head to head.

I am an American .. big football fan .. and lived in London for a while. I was excited to see this movie, but left a little disappointed. He was strong and convincing .. and the performance was great .. especially Charlie Hunnam. The fight scenes, while clearly a concern, not bother me much. I also thought it was very interesting to learn about the organization of the companies, so I had no idea such a thing exists. I always thought of hooliganism as a group of drunken young idiots, who like to choose fights, etc. Boy was I wrong. However, one thing that troubled me was that .. Elijah Wood only character not fit in. tiny SOIL ALERT - A child who was afraid of his preppy weasel room at Harvard ... all of the sudden mixing with British Hooligans core, huh? I felt as if the story was accurate, Matt has been split the money right off the bat Pete .. and who have been in the closest Starbucks six minutes later. End of movie. I kept returning to my mind. In general, though, it certainly was a good Hooligans Drama film .. worth seeing.

I never felt so excited after I made a DivX film Hooligans after seeing it. The story is not necessarily the largest, but it did not matter. It was not just the violence that made the DivX Movie Hooligans so good, the camera work and effects are spectacular, especially during the scenes of fighting. The Hooligans film raises his adrenaline as the players raise their own. And the final stay with you for a long time and probably leave in tears. The cast for this DivX film Hooligans so special ... Elijah Wood as a hooligan is so unexpected, just like you who do not suspect they are to become a fighter. The cast is also filled with about anybody who works for the film. If it had been starring Vinnie Jones etc just does not work after all we're not talking Hollywood West Ham. Half ago and factory machinery football look absolutely rubbish (which does not need any help). Apparently, the English film: Hooligans is a return as in music and sport. In a world of powerful ...

This DVD movie Hooligans is fantastic. Taught me to believe football hooligans were a threat to society, fighting unnecessary wars and brutal struggle. Lexi Alexander shows a different face to it. Of course, the fight against brutal there, but it just shows these people are standing up for what they believe in another ideal I was raised to believe! While I believe that this Hooligans movie could be misinterpreted by viewers outside of Europe. "One Blood" is an incredible blow a song that is playing very graphic scene. It really makes you think !!!!!! I recommend this film, especially if you have the same view of the hooligans as I did.

I saw a mystery in this preview screening in which they do not know which film: Hooligans would be shown. Sometimes these previews become peacocks, but fortunately it was not the case this time. Without revealing too much of the story, the character of Elijah Wood is expelled from Harvard for a drug offense that did not commit. Flying to London to visit his sister and quickly falls into a small group of West Ham United hooligans support called Green Street Elite. The DivX Movie Hooligans has something glamorise violence, but ending with a note moralizing. An attractive argument, a good picture and decent cast performances make this a fun movie. Two small problems: 1) Charlie Hunnam of "cor blimey guv'nor" accent is that Dick Van Dyke East End of London. 2) Set the character of the wood that has landed in London, we are frankly ridiculous to hear this message through the megaphone of the airport - it is a notice of security at Heathrow Airport in London. " Presumably this is added to the hard thinking. To all Americans who have expressed that there was no British football matches as a result of this film, I would note that this DivX film Hooligans is fiction - not a documentary. Hooligans are quite a small minority of the crowd at a soccer game and even then only invariably fight among themselves instead of randomly attacking innocent members of the public (which the Hooligans movie portrays accurately). In short, an excellent film, it's worth going to see.
