| Since I have never seen the original 1958 version of the House on Haunted Hill, I did not know what to expect this. Although the DVD film House on Haunted Hill is almost a follow-up of 90's horror movie: House on Haunted Hill cliché quite adequate. Some scenes in the House on Haunted Hill Thriller film are disturbing and frightening, and in this case the movie, which is used to its advantage. For the first 45 minutes most of the alarms are psychological in addition to the films authenticity. But then the downfall of the last 20 minutes of the film, using CGI. The computer generated monster / thing in the end not follow suit and, therefore, whatever remains of the original House on Haunted Hill movie had. And now, a synopsis of the action. Geoffrey Rush is the only significantly large part of the DivX Movie House on Haunted Hill by Stephen Pryce. Famke Jansen as the man is fine-dining, Evelyn, but his character is annoying. Ali Carter (Sara) is a very uninvolving who only scream and run. Bridgette Wilson (Melissa) could have been used more, but it looks and acts very well. Chris Kattan (Watson), provides a great character. Taye Diggs (Eddie) is not a big place, and have not appeared on House on Haunted Hill movie in the first place. Peter Gallagher (Donald) is out of the spotlight for the most part. Overall, this House on Haunted Hill Thriller film is good (if flawed) and satisfactory. 5.4 out of 10. |
| I saw the trailer for this DivX Movie House on Haunted Hill in the cinema and was impressed by the special effects. When in fact they saw the DivX film House on Haunted Hill on DVD this week I soon realized that the decent special effects in the trailer, in fact, were the only special effects in film. Although I quite like the original, i absolutely hated this film, and if it is true that the Dark Castle productions are indeed planning to remake a series of films of William Castle then hope to do a better job! The script is probably the worst I've seen in a long time, the characters are all so upset at the moment that I found myself wishing killed in the first fifteen minutes. In fact it took me two sessions to see the DivX Movie House on Haunted Hill was good or I would have found myself rapidly transmitted through it. The plot, what there is of it, it makes little sense and the DivX Movie House on Haunted Hill does not explain why certain things are happening, wives of the price relationship with one of the guests, for example. This DVD film House on Haunted Hill was so bad I ended up feeling frustrated and cheated, that really made me so angry. Avoid it like the plague. |
| "The House of Haunted Hill" is a DVD movie House on Haunted Hill that never see disgusting again. The images of the beheading, the corpses, dementia and gambling tycoon launches sadist in people is just beyond my comprehension. The film: House on Haunted Hill is not even scary, there were only so many disturbing images, including a beheading, corpses encased in glass, showing the start shedding the blood of someone in the chest, and a scene of a naked woman drowning. I suggest you all do not go see this movie. |
| I would have loved this DivX Movie House on Haunted Hill have not been on his mind-numbingly dumb enfuriatingly and outside the "final solution". Everything until then was the horror at its best. While not shying away from special effects such as dead bodies and deformed intestines, the director has succeeded in scaring the audience with what they do not know and what is not, which ultimately provided much more afraid. But entering CGI (computer generated images), the House on Haunted Hill movie falls flat. The reference to the ink stains on a home can be smart, but implementation is cheap, sometimes even simple fans. Fortunately, this occurs only very late in the film. Speaking of which - the end is so bad that almost all the DivX film House on Haunted Hill blurs. The use of CGI amateurish, the final confrontation, the "solution", the "added advantage" totally inappropriate and the reactions of other characters - all made me wonder if a director and writer for the last few minutes of the House on Haunted Hill Thriller only to conform to the standards of the worst of Hollywood. It was hard to believe the writer and director had planned such a pathetic end to an excellent and entertaining horror movie. |
| ** SPOILERS ** Well, I had heard from some people that this House on Haunted Hill Thriller movie was worth seeing, and after much contemplation, I decided never to listen to these people again. Horror movies I like as much as the next person, but nothing frustrates me more than a horror House on Haunted Hill film aimed at the MTV generation, with bright lights, techno-smart fusion of classical music, casual and unnecessary oath. In short, the performance was exaggerated. Special effects, but beautiful, the atmosphere created only sense, not the absence of good results. It does not seem that much thought or effort in making this House on Haunted Hill film really good. This is a small spoiler, but not really. I must say, I was very disappointed that the villain has become a Rorschach ink blot test. Could have sworn that is shaped like a rabbit. |
