Young Danny Madigan is a big fan of Jack Slater, a larger-than-life action hero played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. When his best friend, Nick the projectionist, gives him a magic ticket to the new Jack Slater film, Danny is transported into Slater's world, where the good guys always win. One of Slater's enemies, Benedict the hitman, gets hold of the ticket and ends up in Danny's world, where he realises that if he can kill Schwarzenegger, Slater will be no more. Slater and Danny must travel back and stop him.

After Arnold Schwarzeneggers Terminator 1 is better film. I can not understand why this is so underrated. I love the self-irony in this film. This movie: Last Action Hero shows that Arnie is much more intelligent and humorous that many people thought before. It gave me a rate of 9.

LAST ACTION HERO down in the books as an acquaintance, without hope of bomb, put it in the same company as films like HUDSON HAWK, BATTLEFIELD EARTH, and GIGLI. And although it was a great financial DISSAPOINTMENT in 1993, this Last Action Hero Comedy movie is head and shoulders above the other stinkers, and has found an appreciative audience over time. It may not have received such terrible word of mouth not been announced and released as a simple action film. Undoubtedly, 1993 is expected or a public-TERMINATOR TRUE LIES style adventure. In contrast, last action hero is quite misleading, changes tone and very spectacular, a free wheel action adventure, with something much more dramatic, set in the "real world", and back and forth again. This can be quite unpleasant at first sight, and certainly unappealing for anyone who does not enjoy the satire of Hollywood. Eleven years later, the American public is a little more DVD movie Last Action Hero and industry experience (as it appears your mom and pop still salary rumors and careers locker these days), and can appreciate a little more inside jokes. If you prepare for a parody impertinente DONT wait and Total Recall - you definitely find LAST ACTION HERO better than you remember.
