I liked the premise - small-town girl makes it big as a stewardess. costumes and set design suggests that it could be a hip, trend-setting film. I love to see women and men who look different and invite curiosity, I like Gwyneth Paltrow to see action in the sincerity of his character. but it seems that this script was not rewritten times - even redirected. Most of the other characters were introduced as a little quirky or sexy, but after it became uninteresting, tension or romance between them does not seem real. Why introduce the characters that are repeated or means nothing at the end? Why go to Paris or New York, and view from inside a room? it is as if the budget was cut because every page of the script was found to be unworkable material! by the end of the film, I felt sorry for most of the stars who appeared in the east. I think it could have been one of the most fun, interesting films of the year - I would love to remake a real insight into the world of the airline stewardess.

Really cannot believe some of the bad reviews of this DVD film View from the Top that I just read here! The movie: View from the Top is exactly what promises to be nice, charming, and yes, a bit spongy! However, do not take too seriously and that makes its flaws forgiveable. I thought it was very entertaining and refreshing, come on man, Lighten Up!
