I have to borrow the greeting among friends in the DVD movie We Own the Night "Dreamcatcher" based on Stephen King's novel "same sh -, another day" and the word "day" for the film. I have to borrow the term used by 18th Century when cooks disguise remains, but I would say that whatever was the meat in a dress. " Déjà vu, sorry. Characters 1) little things, like when Chief Grus. Bawled across the street that his son Bobby was a real cop should have kept his voice low - 2) unusual street Bobby is wise in pursuing futile: as soon as the sniper leaned out the window in the bad " Car ahead, put the car in third gear and put my right foot down so that the ram ahead - imagine what would have happened to snipers, and the car driver - and I was sitting in the last row of the cinema. disappointing and predictable. Thank you for this space. |
I will try to keep it short because many of the comments are available to detail the disappointments in the film. Bottom line - is absurd. The cast was solid, and the appearance of the image was fine, but every point in the film: We Own the Night was driven by (1) jaw-dropping coincidence, (2) implausible stupidity, either by police or the criminals who supposed to be the best at what they do, or (3) characters doing things that would not do. On the latter point, the character of Bobby Joaquin Phoenix is a contender, but Mark Wahlberg is the champion of Joe, a bold, brave and reckless, bad-ass police who is recovering from a spectacular shot just cower in the weeds at the end so that its previously associated criminal brother become deputized police officer two days in a great way to keep East Coast drug raid. And all this is literally .... Oh, and somehow the bad guys can not figure out that the nightclub manager who asked to enter your top-secret drug processing facility is the brother of the police out of their way to a weapon in the street, although the nightclub brother openly brother attended the police of the police of the ceremony a couple of nights before, and the brother of police broke into the disco bar brother, after that, the club and brother was released from jail despite of possession of narcotics, and so on and so forth. Do not try to untangle it. Not even try to see it. |
It is not a good We Own the Night Drama movie at all. Forget about all the positive comments, the only decent bits were blurred persecution and the scene in which Joaquin Phoenix goes to the Russian mafia and den discovered. A hilarious continuity at the court put me in the mood of the DVD movie We Own the Night though. Eva Mendes is taking its beans flicked by Joaquin, a minute that it has on tights, the next they disappear! Hey Presto, Joaquin is a magician! After the DVD movie We Own the Night does not just deliver. I spent all the time compared to movies like that are better, like The Departed and Carlito's Way. Mr. Phoenix seems Temazepam happens, you move through the movie: We Own the Night in a stunning, disinterested and tired, act as if only out of an "all you can eat" Chinese buffet, should not have Joaquin 3rd plate. Whalberg brand drifts in and out of the film: We Own the Night with the enthusiasm of someone who just read this terrible script. Robert Duvall is solid, but boring. There are a lot of exchanges that helped drag the We Own the Night Drama movie down. Joachim and the transformation of the nightclub manager gun toting police belong in science fiction. The guy who plays Jumbo is one of the most impressive performances in the history of cinema. He acts in that pseudo-generic gangster-cool, but its execution is evil, and to top it all, has the feeling that the actor plays the role really thinks he is doing a great job! I think we should withdraw. It is not very good at all. |
I went to this DVD movie We Own the Night with low expectations but I've read some comments before. Suffice it to say that this We Own the Night film could have been much better. Surely it is the worst problem is the script and the story just does not go anywhere in the film: We Own the Night has not been visiting now. All this felt like the repetition and not in a hurry to rewind. The acting seemed pretty solid, but cringeworthy oneliners keeps hitting me in the head. Storywise, the DVD film We Own the Night has a lot of sense. Our hero is supposed to be this hard, but more clearly in the head and not the person you had a trust with an important drugdeal. I did not even get why it was present in the business to start. Too much drama is infused in this crime-movie, but in such a way that the unwelcome attention of the characters is not the outcome. However, there are some redeeming qualities. The result was quite good and excellent photography. The car-chase specifically highlighted. And, of course, is always nice to see Robert Duval. Yet I would not recommend it instead of catch when the TV's on some rainy night. You could do much worse. |
We own the night is a great crime drama. The crime fiction that crime does not act. James Gray does a great job directing this film. Gray, you should see a little more work as a director very soon. He is one of the best directors today underestimated. But do not reach the room expecting to see an unofficial sequel to The Departed. You will not see this DVD movie We Own the Night because it has a different style and flow. It's not as action packed as The Departed. This We Own the Night Drama film does not need a ton of action to keep your attention, however. La Noche own that focuses on the characters and their relationships in order to maintain their attention. You will see some action but do not come into this We Own the Night film expecting to see The Departed or Die Hard. By waiting to see the We Own the Night Drama to study in depth how to deal with characters life change events are not disappointed. In general, this We Own the Night Drama movie deserves a solid 9. |
