Nick, a somewhat chauvanistic advertising exec hot shot, has his life turned haywire when a fluke accident enables him to hear what women think. I do not know why people have raved so much of this What Women Want Comedy - is trash! I was so far a big fan of Mel Gibson. After all, he kicked the English out of Scotland and was flying a rooster. As for "what women want'.... urgh. It is an interesting idea - that a man's ability to hear the thoughts of women. Following this idea, but you are left with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt flirting his way through a not-so-terribly dash cigarette advertisement. Seriously, Mel Gibson apparently chain smokes through several packs of Marlboro in this. I used to respect his work, but Mel Gibson in which the star was just a long cigarette advertisement was extremely irresponsible. You forgot the number of young people influenced.
