| Brilliant film. I loved it so much I'm buying. Denzel Washington is once again, and Dakota Fanning is GREAT as always, a pretty girl with a clear gift in action. The film, in my opinion, is not only about the suspense and shootem up bang bang, which has a lot of human emotions in a spiral in which I think was part of the signature films. The director has done a great job as did the writer of this story. "I love you Crissy, and I think you love me too" Dakota Fanning, "God will judge him, just set the reunion." Denzel Washington Well, I could go on and on with my favorite scenes and lines, but I do not want to give anything away to those who have not seen the film. We recommend you see this if you have not and ladies, some Kleenex handy. :) |
| Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning and Christopher Walken came together to bring home to my family believes, the "Film of the Year." Literally, there was not a dry eye in my house, man or woman. Filmed in Mexico City, this action packed drama is exactly what my colleagues have noted: a DVD film Man on Fire based on the life of an alcoholic ex-counter-insurgent who was hired as a body guard Dakota Fanning (aka Lupita or Pita ), which is aa beautiful and intelligent child. I enjoyed the whole process of becoming closer and Washington and Fanning would not have changed a single moment. Each actor and actress in this DVD film Man on Fire gave stellar performances and the plot never wavered. Despite what has been said by my counterparts at other positions, the film: Man on Fire was never a dull moment, and those with children, be forewarned that this is a Man on Fire movie that actually pull the strings in his heart. This Man on Fire Adventure film is a 5 stars, 5 stars for one of my whole family. Read previous entries in the synopsis or argument, but ignore their comments, and that obviously no one knows when they see a good film. |
| This DivX Movie Man on Fire is absolutely incredible - the dialogue, casting, acting, and the excitement brought by this DivX Movie Man on Fire alone. To do, basically, a sad death, ready man, and for the girl is hired to protect. (Nobody could have played better than this character Denzel) You see the sadness and anger will see you and thank you for the new life through his relationship with the girl (someone might have the character of Dakota Fanning, but did work excellent). To stop the plot points with a second that you know someone did an excellent job in the process of shooting when you see a man changes not only physically but emotionally and feel that change happen. Back to the plot ... deeper in their relationship to the girl is kidnapped and Denzel's character is injured in the fight for it. Once outside the hospital who swears revenge and death to all those involved in the abduction. Great plot twists, which obviously is not whether intentional intentional include all lawyers in the family, a very special police, and the father of the girl child ....( spoiler) The best part of all this Man on Fire Adventure movie is that leads one to believe that the girl is dead, even throw in a scene in order to believe that he is alive and when they discover that they are not talking about it, fully convinced that she is dead. But she did not. That was great. For personal honest and cried like a baby when she left the car and ran to Denzel. This was possibly an incredible DivX Movie Man on Fire Denzel increasingly acting and an amazing script that not only makes sense, but it makes you feel. 10/10 |
| I rarely pass comment here on Imdb. Merely because I have little time. When I am affected by a film, whether for quality or lack of it, I feel compelled to write. Sometimes I write because of other comments, if I think others have been unfair, even if wholesomely I agree with what they have to say. The only time I write because I have not enjoyed a film: Man on Fire as much for a while. Only a few words. Great leadership of Scott, wonderful act of Washington, Fanning and indeed most of the cast and a great script. If you have not seen this Man on Fire movie then I recommend you do. I hope you enjoy as much as I do. 10 |
| I rated this DVD film Man on Fire and I'm very stingy 10 with 10 normally, but I feel that all aspects of this Man on Fire Adventure film that deserves every point. Denzel was fantastic and played their part perfectly. His character was very complex and emotionally and mentally to see Denzel play this part witnessed genius. The cast was launched incredibly well. Dakota Fanning is adorable, and their ranks and act second to none. She was the love of this character as one of their own children. The rest of the supporting cast gave an incredible performance. Exactly what one would expect from the likes of Christopher Walken and Mickey Rouke for a few examples. I can not say enough about this film. The direction, camera angles and history are great and everything flowed perfectly movie. Man on Fire was not predictable, as are so many other action / drama films. This is not just a movie, but we should see a "buy" and to see the movie: Man on Fire again. Again, 2 thumbs up for the cast and filmmakers. |
| Before I saw this DVD film Man on Fire had already been a big fan anyway Denzel Washington for "Training Day" and "Play It", but I must say this goes above all the rest of either one of Denzel or work by Tony Scott. The Man on Fire film is terribly cold and one of the most convincing and realistic ever made films for revenge. Easily. Denzel gives his performance as the increasingly formidable John Creasy and is backed by Chris Walken and Mickey Rourke. Both major papers. When I first heard about it I thought it will was'nt anything special with films like 'Kill Bill'and' Walking Tall'just leaving only thought was to be his half revenge film. But not all. With the setting being in Mexico City that I have heard is a terrible place for any human being these days, the history of cracks and twists that regularly pop up and a stunning realism to it is very different from any Scotts movies and other revenge thriller. Overall, I thought it was great and was a murderer from any other Man on Fire Adventure that probably this year. So if you see only one film: Man on Fire in 2005, the man in flames. I love it. |
| This Man on Fire Adventure film is a real jewel. Edge of your seat action, perhaps a little sentimental at times, but Denzel is at his best. You're really losing if you do not see this in theaters. Denzel plays an ex-murderer who has a bodyguard job in Mexico City, taking care of children of a wealthy businessman. At the beginning of the Man on Fire movie is trying to escape from his alcoholic past and present, but its relationship with the child teaches him that life is worth again. When she was kidnapped (and was shot and nearly killed during the kidnapping), revenge is the name of the game. As Walken says of him in the film, his art is death, and this is his masterpiece. The plot twists are good that I do not want to ruin. This is definitely a must see! |
