John LeCarre's spy thriller is brought to the big screen. A British spy (Pierce Brosnan) is banished to Panama after having an affair with an ambassador's mistress. Once there he makes connection with a local tailor (Geoffrey Rush) with a nefarious past and connections to all of the top political and gangster figures in Panama. The tailor also has a wife (Jamie Lee Curtis), who works for the Panamanian president and a huge debt. The mission is to learn what the President intends to do with the Panama Canal. But what the two do is concoct a tremendous fictional tale about former mercenaries who are ready to topple the current government and are willing to work with Britain and the US to do so.

This Tailor of Panama, The film is probably one of the best arguments ever made against the peace espianoge. LeCarre satire is so strong because it is very realistic. Geoffrey Rush is brilliant as always and Pierce Brosnan has never been a better performance. Brendan Gleeson, star of Boorman latest masterpiece, The General, has a nice supporting role. Very cynical, but very fun.

A thriller with all the same ingredients as the House of Russia. Le Carré novel, this is a chessboard of the politicians, dealers, shysters, thugs and opportunists. These are played by an A-list in duo Rush and Brosnan and a support group that are issued in equal parts British, Americans and Panamanians. The delight in this Tailor of Panama, The Thriller is the least tripartite character played by Rush confusion eponym: on the contrary, we see a Betwixt-Bond (# 19 and # 20)-Brosnan playing an MI6 officer almost clinically against the kind of infinitely more recognizable counterparts. It is a joy. Brendan Gleeson is exuberant, which former freedom fighter and former Lieutenant Leonor Varela are a study in impotence. The exquisite Catherine McCormack is precisely 'open, but adjusted to the lack of use. " Jamie Lee Curtis always seems awkward on screen but is right out there. I found this DivX Movie Tailor of Panama, The is very pleasant. I do not need cars, explosions, super-villains, or MTV to enjoy any DVD film Tailor of Panama, The editing. The casting was excellent. You can not go wrong with the author or director LeCarre Boorman (a good combination). Pierce Brosnan is a pure rascal Geoffrey Rush and the perfect foil. Lots of perfect atmosphere and beautiful photography. Kick back and make the trip. A real pleasure.

In this Fahrenheit 9 / 11 on the air again and see this Tailor of Panama, The Thriller movie seems not much to admire for his incendiary political comment, but the ability of its implementation and relevance, which is the sign of a Tailor of Panama, The movie that I hope will endure . Ignoring the politics, for a moment, there is much to see in the editing Boorman quick game of farce and tragedy, and the ability to summarize a complex story with revealing detail. Draws impressive performances from his actors (apart from the ever-annoying Jamie Lee Curtis).
